Alfred Wegener Institute seeks Applicants for Helmholtz Groups Polar and Marine Science

The Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research seeks applicants for up to 20 positions in the 2011 Helmholtz Young Investigator Groups involved in the Polar Regions and Coasts in a changing Earth System (PACES) research program. The funding term is five years.

The Helmholtz Association seeks to promote talented young scientists by providing career opportunities as investigator group leaders in association with one of their 17 research centers in Germany.

Application deadline: Thursday, 31 March 2011. Thursday, 10 March 2011 is preferable.
