NSIDC seeks talented mid- to senior-level software professionals to implement web-based interfaces and applications, start new projects, and provide general programming support for the data center. These developers will work in small agile teams to architect and implement new and ongoing projects, including immediate startup of a sophisticated data search/access/delivery portal for cryospheric airborne data collected from NASA's IceBridge project. Other active projects include development and evolution of a suite of software tools, services, and databases that collectively manage NSIDC's archive of scientific data and enable it to be served in innovative ways to our growing international user community.
