Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals wishing to undertake PhD research in the Polar and Alpine Research Centre (PARC), Loughborough University, UK, commencing October 2011.

Dr Richard Hodgkins - monitoring and modelling the hydrology of glaciers and glacierised catchments
Dr David Graham - glacial sedimentary processes and products
Dr Jeff Evans - Quaternary marine geology and geophysics, glacial and glacially-influenced sedimentation, reconstruction of Quaternary ice-masses and their dynamics in high-latitude glaciated regions, past environmental and oceanographic change in Antarctica, Greenland and Polar North Atlantic Ocean.

The University is able to offer studentships for UK/EU students to support full time research degree programmes commencing in October 2011. Each studentship is valued at ?13,590 plus tuition fees at the UK/EU rate. Applicants must be eligible to pay tuition fees at UK/EU rates. Further information is available online:
