PhD Position in Glacial Erosion and Thermochronology - Tuebingen Germany
The Earth System Dynamics research group at the University of T?bingen, Germany, announces an open PhD position in the application of various thermochronometric methods and numerical modeling to quantify tectonic and surface processes in a project in southeast Alaska. The candidate will conduct fieldwork and data collection within the research group. The candidate is expected to be an active participant in an international and interdisciplinary work group environment. A diplom or Masters degree is a prerequisite for applying.
The position is available in 2011 and candidates should start not later than March 2011. The position is for 2 years with a possible extension to 3 years (salary according to TV-L E13, 50%).
