Description:
Due to last-minute withdrawal, a 10-12 months post-doc position is potentially available at Dept. of Earth and Environmental Sciences of Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) on silicon isotopes in the modern and Holocene coastal Southern Ocean. This work is in the framework of the new European HOLOCLIP project (Holocene climate variability at high-southern latitudes: an integrated perspective, a ESF Polarclimate programme). We seek for a dynamic and autonomous candidate highly motivated to work in collaboration with the other HOLOCLIP partners. S/he should ideally have a strong experience in MC-ICP-MS, biogeochemical Si cycle and/or polar paleoceanography.
