The Desert Research Institute in Reno, NV seeks two Ph.D.-level graduate students to work on NSF-funded, highly collaborative paleoclimate ice core studies in the Arctic and Antarctica. The focus is developing and interpreting long term records of aerosols and their climate impacts. The students will enroll in the Graduate Program in Hydrologic Sciences at the University of Nevada, Reno and be supervised by Joe McConnell.
