IASC has invited APECS to nominate an early career researcher on their behalf to the Review Committee for a Strategic Review of ICSU’s role in Science Education. The Review Committee will be assessing past and current science education activities within ICSU, with a view to the broader context of science education, including developments in emerging technologies, to make recommendations for the future mandate of ICSU in science education. We know APECS has many dynamic people that would make great contributions to this Review Committee, so if you are interested, please fill out the application form.

The ideal candidate would not only be an active APECS member, but would also fulfill at least one of the following criteria:

   1. Natural and social scientist with an active interest in science education and from different disciplines;
   2. Science education policy specialist;
   3. Science educator/teacher;
   4. Expertise in cognitive learning and education;
   5. IT and education expert.
