The IP3 (http://www.usask.ca/ip3) and WC2N (http://wc2n.unbc.ca) Networks are two Canadian scientific research groups which study the movement and storage of water and snow in western and northern Canada as well as the links between climatic change and glacier fluctuations in western Canada.  We seek individuals to fill the following two positions:

1.  Data and Information Manager
This person will manage, standardize, and archive hydrological, climatological, and glaciological databases of both networks; write QA/QC code to process raw observational data;  lead small group training sessions on hydrological and other models;  and provide information and data products as requested by our scientists and partners.  This Full-Time position will be located at the University of Saskatchewan and requires a B.Sc. in natural science, engineering, or other relevant field and familiarity with hydrology, glaciology, or climatology.

2.  Outreach Coordinator
This person will interpret IP3 and WC2N scientific results into forms that meet users' and partners' needs;  produce informational materials, books, and public park information displays;  organize workshops with the cold regions water management community;  and inform the public and media on climate, cryosphere, and hydrology issues in the Canadian Rockies and the North through public meetings and presentations.  This Part-Time or Full-Time position requires a B.Sc. with training or experience in cold regions hydrology or climatology and scientific communication and will be located either at the University of Saskatchewan or the University of Northern British Columbia.
